About Stoik

Recovery Is Trained.Built With Intent.

Stoik Body Co. was built on a simple standard. Recovery is not passive. It is trained. This is not a spa model and it is not routine-based care. It is structured performance recovery and coaching for people who take their training, movement, and long-term capacity seriously.

The Standard

This Is Not Routine Care.

The approach is simple and consistent. Assess. Apply. Adapt. Build capacity over time. The same standards used in performance training carry over into recovery. Controlled effort. No wasted reps. No guesswork. Execution matters. That is how progress is made and sustained.

Stoik operates under the belief that most people are leaving performance on the table because they do not understand how their body moves. When the feet, core, and ribcage are off, everything else compensates. When those foundations are restored, force transfer improves, movement cleans up, and recovery starts doing its job.

Movement First

The Work Is Practical. The Goal Is Capacity.

Recovery is part of the program, not something you add when things break. That is how you keep moving, keep training, and build something that lasts.

01

Endure With Purpose

Stay in the work long enough for it to matter. Effort has direction here.

02

Honor The Reps

Small adjustments done consistently create change that holds.

03

Lead With Intention

Nothing is random. The body responds best when the work is applied with purpose.

04

Elevate The Standard

Do not settle for passive care when the goal is stronger movement and better output.

05

Plan To Win

Long-term capacity comes from structure, not from reacting late.

The People Behind Stoik

Built By People Who Train The Standard.

Founder

Sammi Knoll

Owner, Founder, Stoik Body Co.NASM Certified Personal TrainerIowa Licensed Massage Therapist
Sammi Knoll of Stoik Body Co.

Sammi built Stoik Body Co. around the idea that most people are leaving performance on the table because they do not understand how their body moves.

Her work centers on functional bodywork and movement-based kinesiology with a heavy focus on the feet, core, and ribcage. These are the areas that control stability, force transfer, and overall movement efficiency. When they are off, everything else compensates.

Her sessions are structured to correct those patterns, improve control, reduce unnecessary tension, and build resilience that carries into training and daily life. Outside of Stoik, Sammi trains with the same intent she coaches. She competes in powerlifting and trains for distance running, and that perspective shows up in how she works. Everything is practical. Everything has carryover. The goal is not temporary relief. The goal is long-term capacity.

Recovery Specialist

Tyler Johnson

Iowa Licensed Massage Therapist
Tyler Johnson of Stoik Body Co.

Tyler brings a balanced approach to recovery work. His sessions combine relaxation-based techniques with targeted functional bodywork to address both immediate discomfort and underlying tension patterns.

He works extensively with myofascial release and deep tissue techniques, applying pressure with control and awareness rather than excess force. The goal is to create change that holds, not short-term relief that fades.

Tyler has experience working with a wide range of clients, including those managing EDS, fibromyalgia, migraines, overuse patterns, and chronic discomfort. His approach adapts to the individual while staying grounded in consistent principles. The work is intuitive, but it is not random. It is applied with purpose and built around how the body responds.

How Stoik Works

Controlled Output. Long-Term Progression.

The same principles that drive structured strength programs and stability work apply here. High intent. Controlled output. Long-term progression. The point is not to do more. The point is to do what matters, consistently, with intent.

Assess

Start with what the body is actually doing, not with assumptions.

Apply

Use bodywork, breath, and movement inputs that have a reason to be there.

Adapt

Adjust based on response, tolerance, and the demands of training.

Build

Stack enough quality work that the result lasts outside the session.

Long-Term Capacity

No Wasted Reps. No Empty Inputs.

Recovery should support movement, lifting, and life outside the table. That is the line Stoik holds.
